The BW 174 is a heavy-duty tandem roller with a swing-axle design for asphalt paving on large areas. It is used when high compaction performance combined with a very uniform surface finish is required.
Typical applications include road construction, highway sections, and large traffic areas. The articulated design ensures particularly precise guidance of the drum assemblies, which has a positive effect on compaction results and surface finish.
